GTA 5 Psychiatric Report: All Answers & Why It’s Different for All Players
Grand Theft Auto has countless fans, many of which have already completed the Story Mode in GTA 5. Players who have already gotten through the end credits scene in GTA 5 would have been met with an interesting Psychiatric Report based on their playthrough, and fans are curious to know more about the answers as well as why it’s different for all players.
Many players have found this report to be quite fascinating, and there are plenty of theories regarding what the report is based on as a whole. Below is everything you need to know about all of the answers listed within the Psychiatric Report, how the report is depicted for different players, and why the answers are seemingly randomized.
Psychiatric Report in GTA 5
The Psychiatric Report in GTA 5 is only given to players who complete the entire Story Mode – so spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn’t reached the final mission just yet. Players are given their specific Psychiatric Report (or “Client Notes”) after the credits scene ends in GTA 5, after which players will be able to continue their adventures by enjoying GTA 5 in Free Play mode.
Each player may seem to have a randomized list of answers and comments on their Psychiatric Report, some of which are somewhat comedic or outlined by dark humor. This Psychiatric Report, issued by Dr. Isiah Friedlander, represents a summary of the entire process that it took the player to complete the Story Mode in GTA 5.
All GTA 5 Psychiatric Report Answers: Explained
It’s easy to understand why answers may differ for players who took longer or made more mistakes. However, quite a few fans were baffled by some of the answers they received – not knowing where they came from or what the player had done.
Although the Psychiatric Report is a reflection of the Story Mode process for each player, it also takes additional activities and pastimes into consideration as well – such as time spent at certain locations, decisions made on heists, and social aspects. The answers listed on each player’s Psychiatric Report assess all of these factors, so every player appears to receive a completely different combination of answers.
There are 15 answers listed on each Psychiatric Report, each of which is based on a specific statistic or area of interest. Players’ Psychiatric Reports can include one of many answers within each of the 15 areas of interest, and fans have been encouraged to share their reports with the community.

Can You Predict the Psychiatric Report?
Quite a few GTA 5 players believe that the Psychiatric Report is solely based on Micheal (primarily due to the inclusion of family and yoga). But, most fans believe that the complete Psychiatric Report considers all of the actions of the player rather than the character – thus compiling all of the character’s choices into one concise and comprehensive report.
All of the answers and their numerous variants can be linked with one or multiple characters in many cases, making it impossible to single out one character as a whole. Some players believe that it may even be possible to play the game with your specific future Psychiatric Report in mind.
Due to the fact that the Psychiatric report’s answers are based on the player’s performance and choice in many cases, some answers may be predictable – or, at least answers can be narrowed down based on how you play the game. Some of these answers can be influenced by the choices that players make as the game progresses, over and above the player’s efficiency in completing Story Mode.
According to an in-depth analysis made by user reoze on Reddit, it may be relatively easy to predict a good versus a bad answer in the final report. The general theory for each of the 15 areas of interest has been detailed below.
Answer | How the Answer is Calculated |
1 | Randomly generated “intro” string. |
2 | The response may be generated based on the choice made in the final mission. |
3 | The response may be generated based on how long each of the three characters was played, and which was played the most. |
4 | Has the player spent more than 1 million, combined between all 3 characters? |
5 | Has the player received 3 or more lap dances, or spent $100 or more in strip clubs? |
6 | Have any of the characters used prostitute services? |
7 | Is Michael on good terms with both Amanda and Jimmy? |
8 | Has the player spent more than 120000 seconds in the stock market, and had success in the stock market? |
9 | Has the player killed more than 100 innocents or pedestrians? |
10 | Has the player stolen more than 100 vehicles? |
11 | Has the player “completed” yoga? |
12 | The response may consider whether all of the main characters have more than 50% in their Strength, Stamina, and Lung Capacity skills. |
13 | Has the player completed more than 10 random events? |
14 | The response may consider if the player completed collecting any of the following – Diving Scraps, Epsilon Tracts, Letter Scraps, Or Spaceship Parts. |
15 | Randomly generated “end” string, possibly based on the previous answers. |
Assessing the possible influences has provided many old-time players with some understanding and closure regarding the Psychiatric Report they received. These factors are definitely worth bearing in mind if you want to get the best possible answers within your next GTA 5 playthrough.
