The key to having a baby with the Grim Reaper is to remove his “Reaper” trait that blocks him from most usual Sim interactions. Is it possible to try for a baby with the Grim Reaper in Sims 4?
It’s possible to start a family with the Grim Reaper without using a single mod. It does involve pretty heavy usage of cheats, however. The Grim Reaper has a unique “Reaper” trait that allows him to do his duty. This trait bars him from any physical interactions he has with other characters and bars him from being invited to events. This means that you can flirt with Grim Reaper to no end, and you still won’t be able to have your first kiss with him or try for a baby with him unless you remove the trait.
Removing the trait will remove all limitations likewise. Also, Grim Reaper’s voice will change into that of normal sims, and his movements will change. He will still, however, keep his attire.

Step 1: Get rid of a household member to summon Grim Reaper
The first step can seem a bit cruel, but it’s necessary. You need to “get rid” of a certain Sim so Grim Reaper can visit your household. Once he shows up, you’ll have plenty of time to interact with him as he usually hangs around the lot for some time afterward.
Interacting with the Grim Reaper, however, is not nearly enough to accomplish what we have planned, so we proceed to step two.
Step 2: Add Grim Reaper to your household with cheats
In order to take advantage of all subsequent cheats, you will need to add Grim Reaper to your household. You can do that by enabling cheats. Enable cheats by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C and typing “testingcheats true”
Once the cheats have been enabled, shift+click on Grim Reaper and choose “add to family.” This will allow you to manipulate Grim Reaper through additional means, and he will not be able to escape when you attempt to flirt with him.
Step 3: Remove the reaper trait from Grim Reaper by using cheats
This is the most vital step of all since all subsequent steps will fail if you don’t do this correctly. In order to have physical relations with Grim Reaper, you will have to remove his reaper trait. Before you do that, you will have the option of flirting with him, but it will lead nowhere.
To remove the Grim Reaper trait, open the command console once again and type “traits.remove_trait IsGrimReaper“
If you’ve successfully removed the trait, Grim Reaper should walk like a normal person and have the voice of a normal person. We can proceed with the next step.
Step 4: Flirt with the Grim Reaper
Now that Grim Reaper is no longer limited to only a few interactions, we can proceed with flirting with him. The higher your charisma is, the quicker he will fall to your advances. Pretty much any option becomes available to you after you share your first kiss with Grim Reaper.
You don’t have to be in a relationship with him to have a baby. He only needs to be in a certain mood.
Step 5: Try for a baby with the Grim Reaper
This step wouldn’t be possible without removing the Reaper trait. You can proceed with wohooing the Reaper as you would with any other Sim. The chances of having a baby are like with any other Sim likewise.
Step 6: Return to the Reaper trait to Grim Reaper by using commands
If you want the Grim Reaper to return to his gloomy self, you can always reactivate his Reaper trait. You can do that by opening the console and typing “traits.equip_trait IsGrimReaper”
You will lose your ability to have physical relations with the Grim Reaper, and he will no longer be able to accompany you to events and such. His voice and animations will also return. Everything else will remain normal, and you can remove the trait once again whenever you want.
Can you have a baby with Grim Reaper in Sims 4 without commands?
The base game does not allow for such interactions with the Grim Reaper. He cannot be interacted with in such a way without the use of commands or mods, for that matter. So no, you cannot have a baby in Sims 4 with Grim Reaper without commands. You can, however, seduce him even without the commands, in which case you will get the “Seduced Death” moodlet that stays active for 4 hours.
